Vintage prices.

by Adam Mac » Mon Jul 03, 2017 8:22 am

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. Does anyone do any vintage toy collecting or have any idea of prices.

A friend had to empty out his mothers attic yesterday and found his old toys. Most are the run of the mill well played with, Falcon, X-wing etc. But two are a bit more interesting. He has the:

Cardboard Death Star, opened and incomplete but quite a lot with it.

Speeder bike, opened but complete and with a decent box.

Just wondering if anyone knows going rates as a starting point? I find eBay isn't that good an indicator these days.

I can add photos later.

Honestly it'll depend upon:
The condition of what the items are
If they are complete or incomplete with respects to accessories and weapons, as well as if any come with packaging &\or manuals.
The condition of the a figure will be priced based on the rarity of the figure, how loose or tight the limbs are and the condition of the paint work.
So its difficult to say without seeing them, you're best off joining the Echo Base Valuation group on facebook and their respective trading group.
Read the instructions on the group and then post up pics :)
